Hi and thanks for a great plug-in, will it be updated to work with Moodle 2.6 please?

Hi Mark,
How about adding an option to allow for auto un-enrolments, if a user has done nothing (no activities?) in the course for a configurable amount of days? This would (to some extent) eliminate the scenarios where a user just want to "check out"/test a course, not planning to do anything, skewing the data.
Let me know what you think - I might even be able to help out (code-wise).

I am using Moodle 2.4 and I've got the same error as Rosario.
When I log in, I am directed to a 'plugin update' page. When I launch the update, I get this error:

When I try to delete the auto_enrol plugin by clicking the 'Uninstall' button on the 'Site administration > Plugin > Plugin owerview' page, Moodle says:
'autoenrol
This module does not exist'.
Would you have any way to solve this?

I've put v1.2 RC2 on our test23 installation and it seems stable and ticks most of the boxes. Weird thing though - on 2.3, it doesn't let a Student with unenrol_self role option ticked unenrol themselves from a course though, no link in the Settings block. But works fine on m2.4. Not the end of the world as teachers/admins can remove them now, but still worth noting.

However I would also really like the option for students to self unenrol.
Quite a few people have mentioned that they would like this, and you said it would be easy to implement. Please could you do an update that includes it!

Hi David, version 1.1 should fix that problem and more updates are on the way!

I have tried this with moodle 2.5 (I'm a beta tester) and whilst it works, it comes up with a security warning to do with cleaning field values during the installation screens. I have the details, if you'd like a bug logging that you can have assigned to you?

I'm now using this on my site, seems handy. Thanks a helpful step towards the site workflow I'm trying to implement!

Mark - thanks for creating this plugin, can't wait to put it to work on my site! I got it installed but I can't figure out where to go to ensure new users are automatically enrolled in the course I want. Any help is much appreciated!

In addition to the multiple instances feature discussed in PM, can I also suggest two more abilities:
- to be able to delete people to keep the Enrolled Users list tidy (currently no X on the far right hand column to do so)
- to offer the user an Unenrol me from this course link once they're added

This has solved the fact 'guest' access to pages means non-properly authenticated users could see them. For one specific page so far, but there are others we could apply this to.
One mod we might look at doing is having a per-course option to have it detect whether a staff member is trying to auto-enrol or not - sometimes staff need non-editing teacher on a course (e.g. tutorials pages). However, this is a great start for some pages - happy to do a review but couldn't find an 'add review' button.

I downloaded and installed the last version of Autoenrol. I am using Moodle 2.2+. Installation went fine. However I could not make it work.
Is there something I have done wrong?

By on/off switch I mean "user can unenrol" yes or no, with the default set perhaps to no.
