Conflicts with plugin "Simple Certificate": they use {username} for printing first and last name on certificates. Using FilterCodes prints the username on the certificates. Raised a tracker at the Simple Certificate Plugin to change that. Meanwhile: be aware.

Although... now that I think of it, I'm not sure how I would set that up to use the alternate name if one exits and NOT use the firstname in those situations. "Hello, {firstname}{altname}" would show one name if the student hasn't filled in the alternate name, but two names if they have. Hmmm..

I really like this plugin! If you could add "Alternate name" to the list, that would be awesome! We have so many students (especially international) who do not use their legal names in class.
