Hi Michael,
thanks a lot for the improvements v. 3.0.0 from you and your supporters. The nested conditions are great.
I´ve got another topic for conditions. Badges are not covered by filtercodes. The checking of badges would be a nice feature to query student´s progress without the border of courses.
Badges have at least a ID which could be used for condition test.
Like in the plugin availability badge https://moodle.org/plugins/availability_badge this should be possible in a course context.

I am pleased to announce that there are 2 new releases of FilterCodes since yesterday:
* Version 2.7.3: Final release of FilterCodes compatible with Moodle 2.7 to 3.11. See the MOODLE_311_LEGACY branch. There will not be any more updates to this branch.
* Version 3.0.0: Latest release of FilterCodes for Moodle 3.11 to 5.2 in the master branch.
These are now both available on Moodle.org and in GitHub.

As a site administrator, navigate to Site Administration > Users > Define Roles. The next to last column is called "Short name". There you will see the short names for each of the roles.

Thank you for the plugin. How can I get the short name of the role a user has? Is there a way to do this?

Looking at the documentation, when a courseenddate is missing the filter is supposed to show "Open event," but ours is showing "None." I looked through the language pack because I want to customize what it says (to something like "MISSING END DATE" with the hope that this will encourage instructors to enter an end date), but I cannot find "Open event" nor "None."

The version on GitHub is not ready for release yet. One of the things I added to 2.7.2 was almost 400 php unit assertions. Unfortunately I ran out of time while working out out the bugs in the new unit tests in order to include them before the early bird deadline. So 2.7.2 was published here on Moodle.org including all of the new features and core fixes but without the unit tests.
Once I have confirmed that all of the new unit tests are passing, I will update the version on Moodle.org and Github, hopefully within the next week.

In here under version, you sayd there is a version 2.7.2, but on your github it only has 2.7.0. Is it possible for you rto release the new version to github as well?
We rely on the version are avaible on github for our release-tool to work

Instead of Group Description, which would be hard to match up with group names, what if it might be possible to do something like:
