Hi, I am wanting to use BBB to allow tutors to carry out 1:1 tutorials with their learners. I don't want to go down the road of creating a group for each learner - but want the ability for the tutor to be able to select the participant they want. The 'Participants' option in the settings looks like it should do this, but doesn't seem to be restricting the view to the chosen leanrers - as in non selected learners are still able to join the session.
Is what I want possible, and if so how?

BigBlueButton's screen sharing uses the browsers's ability to capture the screen via WeRTC; however, the browser's does not capture the audio, just the screen.

Hi, I have a problem and at the moment of sharing the screen, the sound of my desktop is not shared, I do not know if this is possible with BBB and is implemented the sharing of desktop sound as Skype for example.

We have had issues trying to import recording from one course to another, using an administrator account. We are unable to achieve this we think because of this line.
locallib.php -> Line: 1989
if (isset($bbbsession['group']) && $recording['meetingID'] != $bbbsession['meetingid']) {
Group defaults to 0 if not in a group but then the $recording['meetingID'] will never match the $bbbsession['meetingid']
Please can you check if this is a bug or what an admin needs to do to ensure they see all recordings on import.

We use BBB activity plugin since 2015 and it's great . We also use, for some trainings , the activity completion. This is very limited for BBB activity plugin : only viewing a BBB activity triggers the activivity completion even if the user never join the BBB session. So, we would like a solution to be able to differentiate joining BBB session and accessing to recordings.

Hello, we had an "2200 error" tonight and the video/image was not available (only sound). What does this error mean? (Moodle 3.6.3 and BBB v. 2.3).

Hi Fred, I just installed a BBB server on a Alibaba ECS (in China) and integrated it into Moodle by installing the BBB plugin from Moodle. Things look fine until I find that it gets stuck with "Connecting to echo test" toast when I enter BBB room from a Moodle activity link. I thought it to be an issue with port 8021, but it is enabled in fact, and this issue doesn't show when I test BBB room from the demo url generated right after BBB was installed. I'm quite confused, can you help? Thanks a lot.

You can't send/receive notifications through chat as we don't have the API in place for it in BigBlueButton. For (2), I think we can make it a bit easier as we're working on extending the '+' button in the HTML5 client to show all upload slides, making it really easy to switch between them.
