Board — collaborative post-it board activity for Moodle

Hello,
this is a very useful plugin - thank you very much.
At the moment one has to choose wether he/she adds a link OR a picture OR a url.
It would be nice to combine these possibilities. Also, it would be nice to change the limitations of the textbox (250 characters?) within the settings of the plugin. And it would be great to add an editor for the textbox.

I really like the Board plugin but at the moment I can only post pictures, but no text - not initally. After posting a picture, deleting the picture via editing and than writing text in the same post, it works. Trying to post only text, i get error/formsubmissioninvalid.
We are using Moodle 4.0.7 (Build: 20230313).

Hello, I installed the plugin without any problem, but when I go to create the activity I get an error "Course or activity not accessible"

Hi, we're pushing this as an alternative to Padlet and it seems to be going down well. Just a couple of issues/suggestions:
1) can you make it so the images can be clicked on to enlarge them/make them pop out? It's not the most accessible use for it but I observed a class posting screenshots of text onto the board and they were impossible to read (without right-clicking and opening in a new window). Still though, it would be nice if actual images could be clicked on as obviously things get smaller the more is added.
2) an obvious one but could things appear in real-time (without refreshing) as they're added? It's not a huge issue to refresh the page but might get everyone on board that's tempted to stick with Padlet.

Hi, I am very impressed by your plugin.
Is it possible to change the post max lenght of 250 to more? and also would it be possible to warn people using more than max allowed? Because right now, they just loose the extra text without warning.

Hi Harold, thanks for your feedback, there is no plan to add RTE to Board, it's conceived as a digital version of a simple note board, however adding the ability to upload a file is part of our roadmap, dependent on future funding.

Hi Leili Mei, thanks for your feedback, the column headers are editable by double-clicking on their text, bringing up an area to edit and then hit Enter to save the change. Users with suitable capabilities for the individual board module can do this, such as teachers, editing teachers and managers by default.
